Jo A. McFetridge, M.A. J.D.

Jo McFetridge is a lawyer in Victoria, B.C. and the principal of McFetridge Law. The firm also maintains virtual offices in both Vancouver and Terrace-Kitimat.

Jo received her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Victoria, after attaining a graduate degree in classical archaeology and an undergraduate honours degree in classical studies with a minor in physics, both degrees from the University of British Columbia. Prior to founding McFetridge Law, Jo was a lawyer at a leading Vancouver business law firm, where she chiefly practiced corporate commercial law with an emphasis on corporate finance and securities.

Born in Kelowna, B.C. Jo was raised overseas in Australia and China and has travelled widely. She was a member of the Canadian Forces between 2000 and 2012, serving initially in the army as an infantryman with the Seaforth Highlanders of Canada and subsequently in the Royal Canadian Navy as a bridge officer on the HMCS MALAHAT.
